This should work with all phones with OBEX (pretty much any phone) and all versions of Ubuntu. I have tried different applications for the task of transferring files from and to my phone. OS X is without a doubt the easiest OS for configuring Bluetooth devices. Adding phones, keyboards and headsets is (more or less) as easy as it could be. Windows is way behind.
